A truly unique red wine made from the indigenous grape variety Vranac. These grapes are a local specialty, are large and deeply coloured and harvested late which makes it a full-bodied wine. The colour is very dark, almost black purple. Despite the strength this wine has ripe tannins. The wine has juicy flavours of blackberry, raspberry, pomegranate and cherry and the natural sweetness of the grape that gives a velvety finish. Origin: Vranec word means strong and powerful black horse (black stallion). Wine made from this grape variety is associated with power, strength and success. However Vranec also means the black colour of the raven. Red wine is in the Balkans, also known as black wine.
